I have had the privilege of working with clients healing from relational and systemic trauma, as well as supporting individuals transitioning out of homelessness. These experiences strengthened my understanding of how complex life circumstances shape who we are and how we move through the world. In my work, I strive to offer trauma-informed, client-centered counseling that honors your experiences and supports your personal healing and growth.
I have a particular passion for working with survivors of domestic violence and childhood trauma. I also provide sex-positive counseling and sex therapy, offering affirming support for queer and trans clients, relationship therapy for all relationship styles, and kink-informed care. My approach is grounded in a systemic lens that integrates culturally responsive practices with awareness of the broader systems that affect our well-being.
I draw from a variety of methods to meet each client’s individual needs, starting from a strength-based, collaborative foundation. Depending on your goals, I may incorporate:
Family Systems Theory and Parts Work
Narrative Therapy techniques
Polyvagal Theory
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
I’m committed to ongoing learning and growth as a clinician, and I aim to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as you work toward meaningful change.

About Me
Hello! I’m Alex, a queer, second-generation Ukrainian American based in Bellingham, Washington. My personal experiences were important motivators in completing an undergraduate degree in Psychology at The City College of New York and subsequently an MA in Mental Health Counseling at Antioch University Seattle, where I am currently earning a certificate in Sex Therapy.
As sex-positive provider, I recognize the importance of examining my own privileges and identities. As a white, non-binary, polyamorous, queer clinician, I bring an intentional, inclusive approach to my work that honors clients’ lived experiences and fosters safety, curiosity, and connection.
As a social justice focused, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive provider, community building is near to my heart. I believe community is one of the most therapeutic experiences we can have and I am committed to supporting my clients, and folks around me in my personal life, in making meaningful connections.
When I’m not working I love to forage for mushrooms, crochet, and hangout with my partners, cats, friends, and family.
Land Acknowledgment
I acknowledge that my practice in Bellingham, WA, is located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded lands of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Lhaq’temish (Lummi Nation) and Nooksack tribes. I honor their enduring relationship with this land, water, and community.
As a mental health counselor, I recognize the ongoing impacts of colonization, displacement, and historical trauma on Indigenous peoples. I am committed to practicing cultural humility, listening to Indigenous voices, and supporting healing and justice in ways that honor this land and its original stewards.
